What is the going rate for a full-time live in nanny?
Typically, the weekly pay for a live in nanny is between £350-£650 per week. This is variable and some families may choose to pay a lower wage but offer certain benefits, such as use of a car, or health club membership.
How long does it take to match a family with a nanny?
We try to filter through our nannies and shortlist relatively swiftly. The process of employing a live in nanny from UK and overseas varies according to may factors, including interview processes, notice periods etc...
What does your vetting procedure include?
We request an up to date DBS. This gives families reassurance that t here are no unspent criminal convictions.
We also validate any qualifications the nanny may have along with acquiring references (one of which we insist is from their most recent employer)
What are the benefits of having a live in nanny?
As your nanny is live-in, you can expect longer hours from your nanny. This is always negotiable between the family and nanny. This is typically 10 hour days (5 days per week) along with some evening babysitting.
Can I book an ad hoc nanny?
Absolutely! We offer our nanny services at an hourly rate of £16 per hour as standard. Our nannies are professional, show up and you can rest assured that your children and home are being cared for.
Are your nannies police checked?
Simple answer….YES. We do not employ anybody who is not thoroughly vetted with an up to date DBS (disclosure and barring service) certificate.
